BSc’s degree in Agronomic Engineering in the field of Horticulture (2006) from the University of Algarve, MSc’s degree in Geomatics in the field of Environmental Systems (2012) from the University of Algarve and PhD in Agricultural Sciences (2018) from the University of Algarve. Florinda integrated GreenCoLab in the position of Chemical Analysis Technician. Previous work includes research collaboration within the Plant Nutrition and Virology Research Groups (Mediterranean Institute for Agriculture, Environment and Development, Portugal), and the MarBiotech group (Centre of Marine Sciences, Portugal). Throughout she has participated as a research fellow in 4 national projects in the field of agricultural sciences. Currently, she leads the Biostimulants & Biopesticides Group at GreenCoLAB whose tasks include varied biochemical analyzes of green products from the oceans rich in added-value compounds.
