João Vieira is an agricultural engineer with a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the Instituto Superior de Agronomia at the University of Lisbon. He has worked at the National Institute of Agricultural and Veterinary Research and the University of Algarve on various research projects. His areas of expertise include fruit growing, horticulture, ornamental plants, plant nutrition, and pastures. Currently, João is a researcher at Greencolab, where he focuses on exploring the use of algae as biostimulants and biopesticides in agricultural crops.
