Between November 15 and 16, Ordos, Etoke, in Inner Mongolia, became the epicenter of innovation and knowledge with the International Spirulina Industry Development Conference 2024. GreenCoLab was honored to participate in this landmark event, which coincided with the 4th Launch of the China-EU Geographical Indications Mutual Recognition Product Mark.
During three intense days, our director Hugo Pereira introduced GreenCoLab with a presentation entitled “GreenCoLab: Building Bridges Between Academia and Industry in Algal Biotechnology.” In it, he highlighted our unwavering mission to promote sustainability and responsible development in the algae industry.Hugo Pereira shared recent advances and innovative projects that reflect our commitment to a greener future. This event was a true meeting of the minds. Industry professionals, researchers, and renowned experts came together to exchange ideas, experiences, and visions about the future of Spirulina and algae. Some of GreenCoLab’s partners and acquaintances were also present at this international conference, such as João Navalho (PhytoBloom – Microalgaeby Necton, Allmicroalgae), Alexandre Rodrigues (Necton), Iago Teles (AlgaePARC), Miguel Borges Pombo (Ignae), among others.
