Daniel Figueiredo, a PhD student at GreenCoLab and member of the Animal Nutrition group, participated in the 4th Iran Algae 2024 International Online Workshop, entitled ‘ALGAE LEAVE NO ONE BEHIND’.
He contributed to the workshop with the presentation entitled “Improving microalgae strains to catalyze emerging markets”. During the presentation, he shared advances in random mutagenesis, a cost-effective method for enhancing microalgae strains tailored to emerging applications.
This online event brings together leaders of companies, professors, and relevant researchers to discuss the vast possibilities of algae and their innovative applications.
