FCUL and Erasmus Amigo organize a transversal Workshop on the “Pacto da Bioeconomia Azul: WP5 | Vertical Algas”

On 12 July, an open Workshop “Pacto da Bioeconomia Azul: WP5 | Vertical Algas” held in Lisbon, was organized by the MARE – Centro de Ciências do Mar e do Ambiente, from the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, within the scope of Erasmus Amigo.

This hybrid event, which aimed to introduce the Algae Vertical project, delved directly into its research and innovation agenda, with lectures covering several areas from human food and nutraceuticals, to the circular economy and other topics. During this initiative, Hugo Pereira, from GreenCoLab presented on “Improving the sustainability of algae production commercial-scale facilities”.
